Professional
- Reasoning about and exploring the future of distributed machine learning systems via a highly specific use case in my current job.
- Attempting to ~3x my technical impact as an IC/manager via Claude code.
- Rebuilding this website as a living document to stimulate thought about the future.
Physical Health
- Consistently complete 3x full body dumbbell strength training sessions per week. Measured via Hevy.
- Consistently complete 2x Norwegian 4x4 protocol rides per week on the Peloton. This 45-min Matt Wilpers Power Zone ride achieves close to this if you take Zone 5 for all four intervals.
- Consistently hit a protein target of 1g / lb bodyweight
- Hit macros and calorie target. Measured via MacroFactor
- Target deficit: 1.6lb/wk
- Fallback on hard days: Maintenance
- Sleep:
- Eight hour sleep opportunity. Measured via Eight Sleep
- Sleep score > 90. Measured via Eight Sleep
- Stand at desk: At least 4 hours per day. Measured via TODO: Find system to track.
Relationships/social
- Marriage: Connection rituals in place and functioning. I’ll write about this eventually
- Kids: Spending concentrated time supporting each, who all seem to uniquely need a bit more right now.
- Investing seriously in a few key individual and couples friendships.
Hobbies
- Violin: On hold right now while more important things take center stage.
- Cubing: Improve my white cross and F2L times. This has a wonderful property of competition with my middle kid. :)
